The second RM100 school support will be paid out starting up Jan 15, explained Deputy Training Minister Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi on Wednesday.
He stated the Ministry experienced issued a round on the make a difference reminding the faculty authorities to not make any deductions for any Guardian-Instructor Association (PTA) or other repayments.
“The RM100 should be dispersed to the students’ mothers and fathers. It’s up to them if they want to use the money to spend PTA expenses. The university has no right to deduct the cash,” he informed reporters here.
Mohd Puad had previously visited Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Batang Benar, SK Sendayang and Tunku Kurshiah University (TKC) close to listed here in conjunction with the first day of school for the 2013 session on Wednesday.
Aside from the five million students in govt colleges the RM100 would also be distributed to pupils in federal government-aided, non-public, and non secular universities.
The aid was announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, who is also Finance Minister, in the 2013 Budget for all main and secondary students, subsequent the 1st RM100 which was provided in 2012. – Bernama
